Lismore Real Estate Advisors have advised a US investor on the forward funding and purchase of a new warehouse facility at Abbotsford Business Park, Falkirk.
The development, targeting a low site coverage of 10%, is pre let to Scania (Great Britain) Limited on a 15 year FRI lease with practical completion forecasted for the summer of 2023.
Falkirk has historically been Scania’s most profitable Scottish location and this specific asset will be the second most sustainable Scania facility in the world – at a time when sustainability and energy efficiency are very much at the front of investors minds.
The total maximum commitment will be circa £8 million which reflects a funding yield of 5.40%.
