Lismore Real Estate Advisors have advised a US REIT on the acquisition of BP Plc’s industrial warehouse at Aberdeen Airport.
The warehouse, located on D2 Business Park, was constructed in 2015 to a high specification and totals 128,900 sqft with a 200,000 sqft yard area, providing a low site cover of 33%.
BP Exploration Operating Limited have recently regeared the unit with lease expiry now July 2035 with a tenant option to extend to July 2040. The rent review due in July 2030 is subject to an RPI uplift.
The unit has an EPC “B” rating, a BREEAM “Very Good” Rating and benefits from an ISO 50,001 accredited facility, globally recognised standard for Energy Management, the first and only BP facility worldwide to gain this.
It was purchased for a price of circa £19.50 million.
